Common e-mail etiquette suggests that you should "clean up" the e-mail text prior to forwarding the message. If the message that was sent to you has been forwarded several times, there's a good chance it has ">" marks on the left side of each line of the message. Each ">" located on a line indicates the number of times the message has already been forwarded. Highlight and delete these "forward symbols" from the text as they can be distracting to your recipients.
